Eat, sleep, play, poop. What else do puppies do? Here is the list of everything I have bought in preparation to bring bloo home. Some of the stuff she’ll grow into (like the large plush toys), but most of the stuff here I’ll need right away. There are, of course, some things that I know I still need to get, like shampoo, but if there’s anything you think I should have, please let me know! 🙂

Eat

• Puppy food // I got the one recommended by the breeder
• Food bowl // Apparently slow feeders help dogs chew and digest 
• Nylabone puppy chew // I personally love how much dogs love nylabones 
• Travel water bowl // I will probably keep one in each car

Sleep

• Crate // I will be borrowing a crate that my friend’s puppy outgrew

Play

• Puppy Kong //Chew toy, toss toy, training aid
• Chuckit! launcher // I hate picking up slobbery balls so this to me, is the best invention ever
• Chuckit! balls // These are extra balls that are supposed to fit the launcher and add some variety 
• Plush dino from goDog // I think goDog makes the cutest toys
• Plush dragon from goDog //The dragon series are my favorite
• Plush lion from Kong // I have a color theme for bloo’s stuff and this was perfect

Poop

• Potty bells //Ring-a-ding-ding! 
• Biodegradable poop bags 

Training/Grooming

• Collar
• Leash
• Clip-on treat tote //Great for keeping treats on your person without having dried liver-scented pockets
• Grooming scissors
• Brushes
• Clicker //For training
• Car seat cover // Keep those paws off my leather seats!!
